I thought Huby played his best games in the super 8s, I’ve watched these games on Trinity Tv several times and put some good shifts in and stood up well as the main prop with Fafita and England out I also see Arona as a possible prop as well, we’ll have to wait and see a bit of a good headache to have for a change.

Yeah, I've watched a number of games from last season as well and Huby showed more of his old self towards the end, it's been consistency he's lacked for some time with us, whether that be through injury I don't know. On Arona no doubt he can play there but he's a better LF who can play the 80 if needed, which will be useful next year. Tbh we'd have to be hit with some injury crisis if he ends up playing in the Props again.

Quiz question. When is the last time T played 80 minutes?

I wouldn’t be surprised to see King rotated with Arona at loose forward, but used as the third prop.

I also think we’ll see Batchelor play on a more regular basis this season. He looks ready to step up and become Kirmonds long term replacement in my opinion.

I think one of the things we will see more of next year is Pauli and Dave both attacking the right edge in tandum

During that hull match at the KC they pulverised the KR defence when they rotated taking the ball in

I think alot of teams would struggle to handle that level of size and power when combined

I'd love to see more of that

As a guess, I wouldn't have thought that many at all with the number of interchanges we used to have. But he appears to me to be one of the more fit forwards that could potentially do it if needed. The blokes like the Duracell bunny.

He's already their for me. Although he's not injury proof his young bones do the things Kirmonds old bones no longer will - must be hugely frustrating for players like Kirmo, all that knowledge but the clocks running out.

It'll be interesting to see how Kirmond goes after a good layoff.

As for the Arona quiz question, he didn't play 80 minutes much last year as Chester kept spelling him with others. He can do 80 minutes there is no doubt but equally he is bound to be more effective if he has a rest, providing his replacement is worthwhile.
We have some good options at 13 but they are all different. PP just runs it hard, Crowther can work his ass off, Arona can take it to the line as well as do the boring hard work, Annakin is more explosive.

That is a fair point. He just never quite looks fully fit for me. I know there was talk of him playing injured last season (no doubts with his commitment). Just think possibly injuries and playing with them could have taken their toll. And he's no spring chicken. I just like England more tbh. Saying "I don't see what Huby gives" probably sounds harsher than I meant it to sound. I probably should have just said I prefer England for the reasons above :DRUNK:
