With the deep freeze setting in, and already some snow in some parts of the north already, could tomorrow's friendly be off.

Can't see either side risking player and supporters welfare for a friendly.

Could we even see a return of MC's snow shovel.

Making the trip up in my son's car. He passed his test just before Christmas, and got his first car last weekend.

Be a shame as Gateshead are one of the few development clubs I feel have some real potential. The chance to see some SL stars like TJ can only help their cause.

Sure Vasty. The previous Gateshead super league franchise did fabulously.

o

Really don't get that comment. I don't see them as a SL team, did I say that? However I see them as potentially a great semi pro club capable of heading the game in fertile player territory. Spreading RL is not all about SL teams as the VT loonies seem to think, all we need is a strong amatuer base everywhere. In essence that's basically all RU has, it's just that there premier teams are a bit more spread about, though they are still mainly based in the South which is oddly ignored.

They play on a 4g pitch don’t they so i’d doubt it would be called off?

Firstly they don't play in(or are they called) Gateshead, they play in Woolsington which is close to the airport, totally otherside of the city from Gateshead, they play on a 4g pitch so game will go ahead, between now and 2pm tomorrow there is less than. 10% chance of snow "showers" so hardly the beast from the east, I'll be taking a Car full up setting off at 11am to watch my son make his debut for Trinity first team :thumb:

Another proud father of a Trinity player on this forum :thumb: - if you don't mind me asking FT who's your son?
