Sorry but after last nights second half display from him why have we not signed him on for another contract. The more this goes on the more I am inclined to think he’s going elsewhere.

If I were a Trinity supporter, I'd want him signed up too. A good forward capable of making stuff happen.

MC mentioned last week that his next contract talks were with Fifita and Tupou.

There was a little matter of securing where we will be playing in the foreseeable future that may have hampered the contract negotiations.
I also felt we may have to cash in on Fifita to help us progress, with no positive news on the ground situation but things have dramatically changed over the last few days.

I remember well your thoughts on where you saw Fifita's future.

Just imagine if life, and running a balanced rugby league club, were just that simple

I still remember him saying 'I've not signed for Warrington...yet!'

Dave said he wasn't going any where in an interview a few weeks ago

I can't recall a player who loves the clubs as much as him and who the fans have loved as much in return
He's a pleasure to watch
The players love him too
Dave is clearly very happy here which is something he never had while he was back in aus

MC said in his john Davidson interview that they would be sorting a new contract with Dave,
One of the many things I really like about carter is if he says he's going to do something....he does it,

I assume that would be something they are working on at with Dave at the mo

It's also a two way thing, the club may want to offer him a new contract, Fifita may not be be ready discuss terms.

He has an additional year option in his favour on his current contract and I seem to recall that he indicated in an interview a few weeks ago he would be activating it.

That said, it doesn’t mean the club aren’t in dialogue with him for a revised longer term contract
