I fully agree with the others on here that this is nothing more then b.s. and spin. Still blaming the previous regime for our current failings and predicament and setting the bar of success very low.
It buys Radford more time and offers optimism for next season to the fans who fall hook line and sinker for the nonsense the club churns out at times. Pearson himself has said to me via e mail that the only mistake He made was appointing gentle so fook knows what he sees in Radford to think he is the messiah. Radford cannot improve himself or the players any further and all this improved recruitment will do is cover and hide his coaching deficiencies with better players and God forbid it buys him a contract extension.

Exactly.
If we finish top next year with improved recruitment that'll only be papering over the cracks IMO.
silly apologists, apologising. Radford is useless, we need a quality coach, and Motu can get a taxi with him too
Nobody is apologising for him. Most (maybe even all, except friends and family) supporters think Radford isn't up to the job. However there is zero chance of him leaving soon. He will end the season as head coach and start next season as head coach. Constant hand-wringing and complaining and going over the same points on every thread will not change that.

do you really want me to waste my time quoting you, and others, making excuses for Lee? seriously, there is a village in East Hull missing an idiot called Lee, simple fact, he promised to walk, he has no honour.

I like you to find me quotes from all these apologists, I've no doubt they are a couple, but if say that 95% of Hull fans think he currently isn't up to the job. The difference is that most don't have a moan about the same thing every single day, making a big deal about a nothing article in which everything said is correct.
He isn't going anywhere, so we might as well get behind the club and hope he can turn it around, I think he needs some help, I'd like someone like Kear as assistant coach.

You're only saying that because you know you can't. Only one or two posters on here have ever made excuses for Radford and COYH is certainly not one of them.
For reference, not getting your knickers in a knot at every available opportunity does not constitute 'making excuses'.

Classy. The very definition of a Keyboard Warrior.
I assume you are trying to be sarcastic If you don't like Radford or the club being criticised then reply with a meaningful post.
I've put my point across many times both highly critical and supportive. I don't feel the need to trot out the same boring crap on every thread day in and day out like I read on here from the likes of yourself, bumpy and knowledge-free standee. You're as boring as our early season attack structure and tactics. The best thing about winning isn't the 2 points gained it's the fact that you lot go quiet for a week. Hope that means enough for you.
Of course they have claimed the squad is stronger, as every coach does.
I've asked you and UllFC where they said Radford inherited a "disaster of a squad and has had to start from nothing".
They didn't, it's just typical of the OTT rubbish posted on here.
some of us do have work to attend you know...
Just a few of Adam Pearson interview highlights over the last 12 months:
"At the end of last season I was very disappointed. I didn’t feel the coach (Peter Gentle) had maximised the playing strength at all and we had just given up in the play-offs."
"We have had a number of excuses here at the club in the last couple of years now and we know those excuses have to stop."
"Looking back, transition is exactly what we’ve had because we’ve cleared out a number of players who were brought in by Shaun McRae and Peter Gentle who proved just not to be good enough. That is extremely disappointing and I feel it was almost a wasted two years"
"When I look at the money we wasted on transfer fees for players it does. We let Andy Lynch go when I had just paid a £50,000 transfer fee for him, so there were some strange decisions. There was a large transfer fee and contract for Joe Arundel and players came in on big contracts who just haven’t delivered."
'Do you regret sacking Peter Gentle?' "No I wish I'd done it earlier really, because obviously Radders is having to sort out quite a lot of the issues he left behind"
Its clear to me in that both interviews are attempts at deflecting blame from himself and Radford by making out that 2012 & 2013 were poor, disappointing years for the club. When the reality is 2012 & 2013 were much better seasons compared to what we had under Agar and last year under Radford. That excuse was already wearing thin back in October 2014 when the HDM interview was given, but for the club to be still trying to paint the same picture in August 2015 is ridiculous IMO. Judging from the mixed opinions on this thread I am far from alone in thinking that.
