[Motu]Was poor. I don't blame him though, he's not had warm up games, and he's not a fullback.
Thought that he ran the ball back well, but I am not sure that his knee injuries have left him with enough agility to defend as full back. There were a few occassions when he tried to change direction and/or alter his stance, and he wasn't able to do it quick enough. It might be that this will improve with match fitness, but you've got to wonder if the injuries have taken their toll.
Disagree, I wouldn't say he was poor at all. Ran the ball in strongly and looked like another potential option.
He did. The first half in particular, we looked much more threatening in attack purely down to Tony's presence. Unfortunately, with Thorman delivering the passes to him, he didn't really have much chance to make a break, but at least there was the threat there which had been lacking with Hall (to an extent, although there's always the chance he'll pull a miracle pay out of nowhere) and Horne.
He showed more from kick returns in less than one game, when he clearly wasn't fully fit, than four other players have shown there throughout the rest of the season.

Was pretty worried about him watching the players warm up - not even walking freely, never mind running and looked pretty nervous I thought. Good brave effort from him tonight, just wish he wouldn't let the ball bounce.
The two errors he made were poor and they certainly looked like they were down to a lack of sharpness/match fitness. That can only improve in the coming weeks though.

He seemed the same old Motu 'Ill let the ball bounce first' Tony to me.

I don't have a problem with him letting the ball bounce if he's not certain to get to it. What he does with the ball is of much more importance, and that's an area that he offers more in than the vast majority.
