Immensely proud of the players, fans and the club as a whole. I must admit I feared the worst as I started watching the game from behind the settee. All the youngers acquitted themselves admirably especially Lane. I just hope it doesn't jeopardise our league position.

Does anyone know why Miloudi wasn't playing?

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Cheers, it does seem odd that he never went over there although maybe I'm reading to much into it.

Great performance particularly the youngsters. Masi was brilliant. Watts, Hadley, Connor and Kelly were outstanding. Very good trip for the players, the club and the supporters who all conducted themselves admirably. By the way what happened to Naughton he wasn't even named in the squad.

Hull trialist Curtis Naughton failed to take the field in the contest due to a wrist injury sustained last season. The Mail understands the decision was made to not risk the former FC outside back due to potential insurance issues if the problem worsened after the game.

Outstanding effort, biggest plus for me was how the young kids stood up and didn't look out of place.

I'd challenge any Hull fan to disagree that Radford isn't doing an amazing job with our young players

Think Lane's try should have stood.

Very proud and exciting about the future

I too couldn’t understand why Lanes try was chalked off.

Great game to watch. I think Watts will have some offers coming from the NRL. The commentary team were really bigging him up and he really delivered.

Good mention from Danny Buderus about the Hull derby.

Well they're already on the flight home with a full week before we play again - hopefully jetlag won't be too much of an issue. Sounded like Tag will be flying back with them, although Radford saying he'll be a few weeks before he plays.

Taylor out is a blow, but we have good cover at prop, chance for one of the young kids.

I was mocked a bit pre season when I said Masi will put pressure on Gree this season, be interesting who Radders picks for bench prop against Cas on Saturday.

In fact tough to pick the 17, a few young lads pushing the more established players.
