James Rule, the Widnes chief executive, said the club would remain full-time in the Championship, adding: ‚“We simply wish to apologise for the experiences of the past two seasons, where results have fallen far below our expectations.”

Unlikely but not impossible.
They couldn't implode more spectacularly than the did in 2016, could they? :)
