Thought Connor looked really good with ball in hand and looks like he has been working on his kicking, kicked a fantastic 40/20 and was very unlucky to miss out on 2 other 40/20 attempts.

the one he kicked was a 30/10 :D

Good work out for both sides.
Hull were dominant for long periods of both halves.
My concern if I was an FC fan was that Wakefield scored 5 of their 6 tries in the latter parts of each half.

We will be ok, lots of rotations can disturb the defensive structures etc. Plus, Johnstone scored his tries against Ratu in his 2nd game of rugby league. Faraimo probably would have given him less room

To be honest, was Radford going to say anything else about him? Being your top signing for 2019?

No surprise Connor looked good. He is our number 6 - future hall of fame.
Kelly should never ever have been resigned.
Let's hope for a great display in one of the next 2 pre season.

Don’t think that had much to do with it. Today Johnstone was just a finisher it was the huge width of passing from Brough that did the danger. Don’t think anyone could have stopped those.

That said it’s one thing flinging our speculators like those in a friendly but I can’t see such gay abandon in a real game as they also have interception written all over them. Perhaps that was where Ratu’s inexperience showed.

That said Johnstone’s last try was a brilliant team effort

I'm not seeing Connor as a half back, certainly not a shoe in and shouldn't be ahead of Kelly or Sneyd. I'd like to see Connors win percentage as a HB as he doesnt seem to be able to close a game out.

We will be at our strongest using him as a centre.

I see him as a half..just needs to happen at its own pace. In the meantime he's going to be 1 of the best centres in the comp and him Kelly and fariamo are gonna be a massive pain to opposition defences

Connor is massively alike to Jamie Lyon imo
Can see he's got all the skills for halfs but a lot of his better attributes are centre attribues. But will Defo end up there

People should 're watch saints v hull in the cup last year to see how valuable sneyd is. We'd of won that day with him

Give Sneyd a lead in the final quarter and 9 times out of 10 you will win.

It's as simple as that.
