Yes you are correct, but Wakefield do have a coach and will have been assured by the IMG ratings that they SHOULD be in Super League next season to replace London.

Powell brought McMeekan to the North of England when McMeekan was ironically playing for London and his talent was recognised by Powell.

Johnson will be returning to his roots and maybe he is under pressure from his missus to return home?

These are different circumstances than Hull FC who have yet to appoint a coach, so there are reasons why Hull couldn`t compete.

They will probably be both on Marquee money, and Hull FC could have offered that too I accept.

No think anyone can doubt there is money, 3 weeks we didn't have a penny since, we have sacked two coaches, paid off players and offered 150k for Rowley.

Because these deals have already been done before Myler came in? First and foremost, the main priority is the head coach, no point signing players a manager doesn’t want, if Hull was signing players before the coach came in then there would be people moaning at that too, Hull are where they are, a good coach and letting him pick his own players and style are the only way of getting out of this mess,

Myler has a tough job, but so far I’d say he’s doing well, moved 3 big earners off and getting some experience in to help protect the young lads, his biggest task is nailing that head coach..

Bit different than signing a 7 though. Briscoe will be cheap on the cap. Especially when you take into consideration the dispensation we get as well

Indeed plus 9 6 & 1 would put before any winger .

If you were a potential candidate for the job and Myler said yes we've got investment coming in, to prove it we've got McMeekan, Broadbent and Johnstone signed up for next year, you'd think great, I've got 3 good players coming in and something to build on...I doubt it would put many coaches off taking the job.

For example, if we do go for Briers, the way the Broncos players talk about him in the press over there, will help with quota recruitment - people like Alick, Volkman etc. may like to play for him over here if 1st grade opportunities still evade them

But we didn't have the investment then....

Rowley was told he could sign (within reason) whoever he wanted at 7 or 9 with the free cap space.

I think the club are doing it the right way round. Get the coach sorted then the players.
