If you buy a pass, then you are entitled to moan, especially when the club is damaging its own standing, and is becoming the laughing stock of SL. If you aren't supporting the club, by not buying a pass or turning up when life permits, then you should stop moaning.

Moaning is an attitude that some have regardless. They can fill their boots at the moment and feel justified. However, whilst criticising, some constructive/optimistic thought might be useful. I see merit in getting some experience in at the moment - stem the tide, change momentum etc. Meanwhile rebuild for next season can go on

There are no top quality backs around in their 20s available. Hence Briscoe

For this season agreed, but for next season, two quality backs (Broadbent and Davies) have been signed by our neighbours, another quality back in Johnstone is likely to be going to Wakefield, and Tommy Makinson (albeit not in his 20s, but a top player) on his way to the south of France. There are top quality backs available, we're just not in the running for them

Top class players usually sign 2 to 3 year deals when they move clubs.

Currently Hull FC are in meltdown and without a coach, so any new players don`t even know who their coach will be, so highly unlikely to commit 2/3 years of their careers to Hull when they will have alternative offers elsewhere.

A good director of rugby will be able to sell the vision to the players though to convince them to sign, Wakey don't definitely know they'll be in super league next year but can offer Johnstone and McMeekan big contracts?

Myler has said he wants the coach in place before making any major signings. It'd undermine the coach.

May the 1st just around the corner ,not that it has ever stopped players / clubs speaking to each other . Any new coach will want to start throwing their hat it the ring for the OOC players .

Plus Myler has been DOR just over a week, most of these players had been signed up by then.

Part of the appeal of the job has to be how much cap space and overseas spots we have. Mylers job is to get the players the coach wants.
