MYLER : Fri May 03, 2024 10:36 pm
I watched tonights game on tv and it looked like Myler wanted to start a fight with the Warrington coach but he had backed away it would have made this game like WWE

Fair play to Myler for refusing Sam’s request because of their own mistake with the team sheet. Myler didn’t nothing wrong and stuck to the rules. We have been stiffed quite a few times when as a club we’ve been sporting fit it to bite us in the arris. Didn’t hear him or his players standing up or speaking out much earlier in the season when we were shafted by the red card decision.

That’s not true. Burgess went on record especially after the game to say what an awful decision it was and felt for you.

Myler on the other hand could have accepted the mistake and allowed the interchange as Burgess would have been forgiving and done the same. Player welfare as he mentioned was questioned, when trying to protect your players on the field and not given the full interchange that goes against the policy.

Burgess just needs to own his mistake. Get the squad right and non of this happens.

Easy for him to say that though, wasn't it?

It's nothing to do with player welfare, he sent Thewliss back on after a head injury. Burgess or someone at Warrington cocked up the squad announcement, it's not Hull's fault.

Exactly.

I guess we won't bother approaching Warrington for any more loan signings

After the club doctor would have given the OK. Also, the main reason Thewlis left the field was for a cut!!

Yes it is true. After the red card Burgess said:

“The rules are the rules, but it’s tough. There’s no two ways about it, it’s a tough red card,”

He hides behind “rules” when it benefits him but cries and acts like a bully when it doesn’t.

Does make Warrington look good does it.
