Sorry to have to report for everybody who knows Moira Tattersall that she passed away yesterday. She suffered a stroke in February and had been in a care home since may, unfortunately she had another stroke and did not recover.
Moira was one of THE origanal members of the club when we were first formed in 1987 as Doncaster Boys, she coached at many levels probably the h/l being the curtain raisers to Wigan v Warrington in Milwaukee in america and Doncaster schools v Widnes at the challenge cup at Wembley
She was an active committee member attending numerous meetings in the YJL and was club " Chairperson " for a number of years.
Right until the end she took a keen interest in all the Teams results especially " Her Boys" in the Under 9s.
