I called the initiative radical , just hope the club get their reward with bigger gates .

Building up a larger fanbase is critical if we want to be successful both now and in the future. There are many reasons why people may have not attended matches in the recent past but this initiative means that the cost of getting in shouldn't be a barrier.

Club Doncaster seem to have the marketing ability to give this a good go. It could backfire if the message isn't spread properly to the good people of Doncaster but we seem to have that covered.

I hope it does attract the lost fans back along with bringing many new faces to the games.

The proposed 'mail drop' covering a reported 110,000 properties is a promising start.

Well as far as paying, they start at charging you £30 and presumably charge more in bands according to numbers taking up the offer.
I got an e-mail this morning and it said I was charged £30

This initiative is called Dons Challenge 1000 ... and in fact if you bought on the night you got a T-shirt too with that on it.

It was mentioned in the Free Press ... but I don't think that there was a form that could be filled in
I would urge the Dons to put one in.

I would also urge folk to actively sell the notion to their mates.

If each of the 500 normal season ticket holders got at least ONE other then we are there.
That is do-able surely?
