The issue here is there is no rugby to watch and make a judgement on ... hence this is the level of discussion. Roll on the Coventry game.
I hope it happens in my lifetime.

With all due respect to the opposition, we start the league with two very winnable fixtures. The next three against Whitehaven, Newcastle and York will surely prove an indication of where we might expect to figure in the league table.

The opening game can't come soon enough for me.

I envisage a tough season ahead , most of the teams have recruited strongly , with seven teams in the mix for a top four spot.

Bradford will be odds on favourites ,closely followed by York and Oldham with Donny , Whitehaven , Workington, Keighley and Hunslet pushing to make the top four.

If we are to be so reliant on Hull ,then our season will be judged on FC's injuries and who will become availble to us when Hull's playing roster has a large number of players on the treatment table.

I still think we need more beef in the pack, and injury to our props could hit us hard, if we are relying on back rowers and centres to fill the gaps in the front row.

I have not rated Boyles work rate in the two friendlies, hopeful he will prove a good addition and show his Super League quality....................... if not then our season could be over before its begun.

Ward the big substitute prop Batley fetched on to smash the ball in should be the kind of player we need to be targeting.
Rough and tough with plenty of go forward.

Moimoi would want big bucks, however he could be the freak show that gets fans curious and gets people though the gate.

A character for the marketing department to plug the club , and I'm sure he could do a job in champ 1
