Massive ha ha , hope to see you at York, if you dont mind being in a crowd. :)

Ah the old our crowd is bigger statement. Someone on Total RL fans site took me to task about this being Yorks promotion year. Well I defy anyone from York to contradict that. What he was glad to bring to the mix was the inference that if they (York) failed they would go bust. Far from it and that bit was never written or was in the thought process.

The celebrations at the final whistle by the York fans and players speaks volumes and you know it.

York have had at least two good seasons on and off the park and the crowd numbers have rightly increased and with comes added revenue which goes towards the squad. We have not achieved any where near the same levels over that two year period, and it is only this season that we have had anything like a side and performance to add weight to the income stream.

We are getting some stick over the link in with Hull and DR but screw that we need the players IMO.

Good luck to you over the next six months and as I said previously if York don't achieve outright promotion bring on round 3.

Harris kept passing short little passes to players coming onto the ball and getting smashed and he never altered that or learned from it in the first half.
I lost intetest when we gave three penalties in the second half that presented York with the chance to get 8 points and effectively show who were the bosses.
Those first two penalties had York going from their own twenty and in some bother to being camped on our line.
Some numpty stripped the ball in the first one for no good reason.
That sequence of play cost us the game ... that and some great defence by York.
Both sides were rubbish in attack and only got territory by kicking the ball and hoping for blunders.
A tight game which some fans will have found fascinating... especially York fans.

I thought that there were some fit guys out there and the effort was admirable ... but the game was a bore and there was ittle skill on show.

I thought we and Horne had changed all that .... he doesn't seem to know what a decent forward looks like.

Is Muranka hollow?
He sure looks like a proper forward taking the ball in but? ....

I think we have found our level against the better sides now.

This injury and absenteeism is annoying too.
We gather York had players out but our list of absentees added to by Charlie Martin's absence really vexed me off!

Horne not earning his corn.

Why are our injuries such a subject of mystery?

Why are we led to believe players will turn out and don't and what's with Miloudi?

Miloudi is in the Hull squad for Monday

Fame at last

I hardly took you to task: I wrote "Also someone saying York have put all their eggs in this seasons promotion basket....not sure I understand that one, I've not seen anything to suggest its championship or bust for York this season"

I'm genuinely interested in what you mean by the easter eggs in one basket bit.

If you mean York are concentrating all their efforts on gaining promotion, well firstly its not true as they'd have simply put out a fringe side in the cup against Championship Swinton to avoid any distractions rather than putting out their best players in the snow on a cabbage patch pitch which had seen another game just 24 hrs earlier (but thanks anyway Fev for allowing the game to be played!).

Regardless, all but a handful of teams (West Wales, Hemel and London) will no doubt be aiming for promotion.

Anyway, as I have also said on TotalRL its a good setup at the Keepmoat and the club deserve more interest from the Donny public. I like Liam Harris, he has the potential to be a good championship level player but his consistency needs a lot of work, I thought that when he played Toronto off the park then the following week at Keighlry played like he was on a picnic in the park. See you at Bootham later in the season, here's hoping its another great atmosphere, and keep the faith. Its only 2 years since I saw York struggling to beat Coventry in frot of 400 odd. Its all about building for the right moment.
