Id like to see us go for Drinkwater but not at DM's expense though.
Now we know that Maguires hanging his boots up at the end of next season were gonna be in the same boat again looking for another halfback.
DM, Drinkwater and Atkin for this season would be great, and then maybe scour the championship for a younger project for the year after would be good.

Jordan Rankin from Huddersfield would be a good choice as he could cover at full and in the half

As he’s not great at either position what a waste of a quota place that would be

Drinkwater or Rankin would fit the bill for this season.
I think your "young project" may well be Will Dagger once Quinlan is fit.
Also the way some are taking about Micky Lewis, he could be starting to knock on the door.
Even if only 18 by then.

I'd heard he is asking for too much money...........but for sure the club is in talks with him and surely an agreement can be reached.

If true about Drinkwaters wage demands, the he is taking a big risk, he had a great season last year, but the rest of his career he has been pretty average, so asking for high wages might backfire on him.

On the other hand if you can believe these Boards (a big ask, I admit) quite a few clubs seem to be interested in him, which will give his agent leverage.

Most clubs have there halves in place now so who else would be looking at him other than us
