What happens if Widnes is relegated at year's end? Could Widnes then afford to pay him? Would he want to stay at Widnes? Does he have an exit option in his contract in case of Widnes's relegation? Maybe Catalans could secure him if Widnes does go down.

Depends on quota spots. We can't sign an overseas player unless one of our current ones leaves
