 Eagles Soar Into Cup Sixth Round The lowest placed league side remaining in the 2022 Betfred Challenge Cup, the North Wales Crusaders, hosted a round five tie against the Sheffield Eagles as both sides looked to secure a place in the last sixteen and a chance to take on Super League opposition. As a side in the top half of the 2022 Championship table, the Eagles were big pre-match favourites to overcome the Championship One side whose league programme has not yet started, but have beaten Leigh Miners Rangers, Swinton Lions and Hunslet.
