Just out of curiosity who picks the 4 candidates for m.o.m..only asking cos some joker nominated brown as one of the 4..he's either been in the bootroom over the road from ground or hasn't got a clue about rugby...

Mom nominees on Sky
are too often wide of the mark.
Doesn't work for me.

Lots of people complaining about the ref but I've seen far worse and on Sky at least it didn't seem that bad. Would rather look at ourselves than complain about the ref.

Obviously, we didn't deserve to win, and Cas were the better team.

However, I can't recall seeing slower play the balls, so much niggling and messing around at the ruck, forward passes and general spoiling going unpunished for quite some time.

Hewer looks unfit, and allowing a quick match would probably have reduced him to a sweaty, blancmange-like mess but it would certainly have improved our chances.

I haven't seen the match & can only go off the radio commentary. The wire fm guys were in melt down at times with the reffing decisions.

Hewer isn't fit enough to ref top level RL....shocking official....very poor...not consistent BECAUSE he can't keep up with play. The high shot awarded against Cooper was a joke.

Actually I pick the MOM. I put the players names on ping pong balls and then pop them into a Bingo machine. The commentary team complains about the background noise, so to keep them happy I normally pick the winner at half time when we are off air. Admittedly we do have problems from time to time. On one occasion the winner came out as a prop forward that broke his leg in the first 5 minutes and had to be stretchered off. That was a bit tricky to explain. Then there was the time where I lost concentration and put the touch judges and refs names in as well - fortunately nobody seemed to notice.

So it all very above board and fair. I really can't understand what all the fuss is about.
