Thanks MR. Is it strange that what comes across as the most sincere aspect of that is the commentary on the shape of the crest?
Yeah, that was a odd little tangent.
Raises the prospect of league 1 (division 3 in old money) with strange equanimity as well. I sort of see what his point when he says they’re not spending much to allow new buyers room to invest within the ffp rules, but it’s hardly surprising fans aren’t exactly applauding that ‘prudence’. For everybody’s sake I hope they find buyers soon.

Given their form for implying an imminent sale for it to be founded on next to nothing the comment that there's preliminary interest from a few parties hardly creates much of a story. What a weird saga it is. City fans must be either beside themselves or worn down to indifference.
Interesting news today, Harry Maguire has signed a new 5 year deal at Leicester, making a move to Man U very unlikely, and with it the 15Million sell on clause the Allams were hoping for goes away, leaving the final Premier League Parachute payment in January as the last bit of good income to come in and little incentive for them to stay longer.
The Maguire new contract could just be a ruse by Leicester to bump up his transfer fee. One thing the Allam's are very good at is extracting money for themselves and they may judge the best to leave a City they have bled them dry is before the Maguire money rolls in. Isn't it 15%, so though its huge by most sports standards the cut will be relative peanuts in the football world.
