JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

The Qualifiers;- Prediction Thread WEEK 6 : Wed Sep 19, 2018 8:44 pm
Toronto v Widnes by one score
Toulouse v HKR by plenty
London v Salford by one score
Halifax v Leeds by as many as they like

My picks in BOLD

This would see the top 3 spots filled with 4 vying for 2 spots in the MPG in the last round, where all the games should have been scheduled to KO at the same time....which would have delivered high drama, instead of the damp squib it will be spread over the weekend......if Toulouse lose heavily on the Thursday night then the MPG line up will already be known before the 2nd game even starts. If Leeds rip the MancPack apart on the Friday, then London might end up hosting the MPG at the wedding venue????? Hardly the look the sport needs

The only result that is nailed on is Leeds beating Fax and whilst the others should be as you've intimated, I can see Toronto beating Widnes in a tense, close game, possibly with the aid of a couple of dodgy decisions  and as long as KR & SAlford aren't complacent, they should both win comfortably.

All eyes on Toronto

Yeah I’d go for the same 3 but the Salford v Toulouse game will be a nervy affair. Depends on how Leeds turn up vs Toronto too. Realistically a win vs Halifax tomorrow makes us safe especially if we win by plenty as it’d need us to lose to Toronto by around at least 30/40+ to drag us back into the mix.

If we beat Halifax comfortably I wouldn’t rule out Toronto coming to Headingley and winning if we’ve mentally relaxed.
