I see Saint Helens have confirmed Barba is to join North Queensland Cowboys for 2019.

Interestingly they got an "acceptable transfer fee".


I wonder if we got an "acceptable transfer fee" for Roberts from Gold Coast Titans as the situations are identical with both players homesick.
I see Saint Helens have confirmed Barba is to join North Queensland Cowboys for 2019.

Think Roberts had an option to leave after 1 season.

Yes, Roberts had a clause in his contract that he could head back to the NRL should he wish, after year one, presumably if he informed us before a certain date. Presumably if he said he wanted to leave after year 2, we could enforce a transfer fee.
