Shaun Edwards says he has not signed contract with Wigan - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/47604947

Has he realised that Wigan are a basketcase, , and he's hawking himself out for a new job.

Strange for the "ultra professional" Lenaghan to announce his capture for 2020, but not for him to sign a contract. Probably forgot, like the "clerical mistake" he made, for Wigan to break salary cap, again.

He's played them like a banjo and it's hilarious. That karma thing again.

Irrespective of their improved performance against us, which was.more about us switching off and losing Austin than anything else, anyone taking charge at Wigan has a huge job on their hands.

Let’s not forget resilience.

Aside from the fact that this is at the expense of Wigan, it's not really a feel good story for rugby league is it?

One of rugby league's most successful players has gone on to be one of rugby union's most successful coaches, he had the chance to return to his hometown club, the biggest club in rugby league, but nah, he might stay in RU thanks.

It's a loss to the British game that Edwards is not in rugby league especially as he seems to know what it takes as a coach to deliver results.

I would certainly take a punt on him at Warrington or for England RL. I wonder if an Edwards team would be "too nice" or "bottlers"?

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Sounds like all is not well at Wigan. The Salary cap issue and then this suggests they have taken their eye off the ball. While I have no love for Wigan (that is an understatement) we need strong clubs in our game and Wigan should be one of those. While in the short term relegation would be amusing I think the long term consequence would be harmful to the game as a whole.

Not me. I think it'll be the biggest advert for the game in decades but I weary a Pie resurrection....near 4 decades of leading and domination...with the odd later blip.
