I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

A good decision -IMO
Grix comes across well in press conferences. He communicates well and has a demeanour that shows authority.
Hopefully a suitable candidate will appear as the season rolls on.

Agree it’s a good decision both internally and externally as the club needs steadying /settling and Grix so far seems to be doing a good job in that aspect.

We can view the move one of two ways I guess the first being we are now casting our net further afield and giving ourselves time to ensure we get the right fit in terms of the next Head Coach. Or the second is that we have agreed on the new Head Ciach who is still employed elsewhere and doesn’t want it announcing until the end of the SL or NRL season. I suppose there could even be a 3rd in that Grix could well play himself in to the job.

Just hope that none of our recent or future recruitment has any of Clark’s fingers on it.

I'm sure, if it was for example, someone experienced and unemployed, they would've been announced by now.
Also an Assistant Coach , should be relatively easy to get an early release, or maybe that guy is integral to his club's challenge for honours.

I honestly don't think we have a coach yet

A few fans and journalists alike are getting frustrated with the lack of ‘leaks’ from the club, since the boys club has dispersed, less info is slapping from the walls of uni, even HDM reporting pre match quotes from last week,

Myler knows what’s needed and fair play to him and the club for keeping it under wraps, not rushing into just signing anyone to please fans, hardly any decent players domestically atm so happy to wait for the right player to come available,

The next coach is going to have 3/4 quota spots, over a million on the cap and one of the best youth set ups in the country, there will be plenty of interest..just need the right captain to steer the ship

Tesi Niu potentially available think he would be exact type of centre we need.

Hopefully Ese Ese can have a word.

Would be a decent appointment. Myler has spoken about the need for experience and leader so perhaps someone else will come in and take the armband.

We need a few of this ilk, as we had back in the day with Ellis, Sika, Minichiello and (briefly) Pritchard.

Personally I like the fact that it's frustrating people. We'll probably never know for certain who leaked the news about Rowley (I believe Carney said it on Sky first but someone had obviously given him the info) nor how close we actually were to him joining us nor what really caused it to all fall apart. But I never liked the way that was being played out in the media. I'd much rather us quietly go about our business on both the coach and player front.
