Its the same festival that TML is involved in, we have all the details and they are being sent out with a booking form this week.

Cast your minds back, its also the same one that John Wroe from Breakaway tours presented to us in March / April.

It isn't the same Festival. I've passed the info about the Breakaway Tours event onto the Skolars to minimise crossover.

Contacted Alistair from the Skolars and he knew nothing about the Breakaway Tours event. Shouldn't be a problem though anyway up people have the chance to play Tag on Cup Final Weekend.

Had a message from Alistair about the Tag Festival on the 30th of August. Read for yourselves, incredible!!! Hi, just letting you know the London Tag Rugby Championships will be held at Finsbury Park (tbc) on August 30th. There will be separate competitions for Men's open, Men's social, Mixed and Men's Masters (over 35). Prize money of up to £2K will be given to the winning team in the men's open division. The RFL is fully backing the event. Full details including a website will be released soon. Some of the Skolars and Swarm Post match. Had a fantastic day down at the Skolars. Great hosts and well worth the trip down. The play in a fantastic spirit, with no shortage of skill, in fact one of their players represented Queensland last year at Tag Rugby!! They also have a thriving Tag League which has 8 teams who play in a weekly competition. Each team pays £400/season to be in the League!! Its well worth the trip down for a game, especially if your team is in London. All the details of their Challenge Cup Tag Festival are here, http://www.tagrugbygroup.com/

They are accepting entries from teams and individuals to play in the men’s open, women’s, mixed, men’s social and men’s masters (over 35s) competitions. The winning team in the men’s open division will receive £2,000 in prize money. With only 3 and a half weeks to the London Tag Rugby Championships it’s time to get your team and individual registration forms in. Places are filling up fast, so make sure you get your forms in by August 16th to avoid missing out. To get hold of the registration forms visit www.tagrugbygroup.com. why all this on a Tag Festival down in london, lets face it how many teams can afford to go down,? not many i quess, so why not get ower league games played instead, the tag merit league should be ower no1 objective, not pointless festivals miles away,
