A book in the US on Christian parenting has been implicated in the murders of three children, who appear to have been disciplined in the way the book describes. Should the book be censored/withdrawn? Should the writers be prosecuted?

Hard one as I am not keen on censorship and am happy for people to follow whatever fairy story they believe in as long as they do not try and force their beliefs on others.

On the other hand I could see them being convicted under laws about inciting others to commit a crime such as ABH/GBH/assault.

I don't think there is a place in the S and M world for children, so I for one would like to see it withdrawn, and both it and the Authors investigated. The idea that you can whip a child, starting as early as a 6 month baby, is vile, and I hope those who advocate such torture have to face the full consequences for their actions.

I agree it should be banned but then there are certain religious texts that also advocate illegal punishments.

Shall we ban them too...?
