So, how come it was previously in the county of Humberside?

It never was a formal county, it was a ceremonial county to promote building the Humber Bridge, it included Goole, Grimsby etc etc. Was never an authority in it's own right (despite the "County Council" badge it was allowed to wear.)

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?

Yep and I suppose I was speculating about the different local authorities.
East Yorkshire one is here there and eveywhere.
Fom Withernsea to Goole to Stamford Bridge if I remember correctly without being assed to check.
All over the shop.

It goes back to getting people into Parliament I am afraid, local wards and the rest of it.

Yes.
It's a shame we have never had anything other than a Tory constituency MP!

You only need to compare the East Riding to Hull to see how much garbage that statement is. Labour have f'd up just about everything thing they ever touch.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaanyway - Hull, City of Culture, well done Hull.

I'd advise you to take a trip to my small former coastal holiday resort.
Fucked under nothing but sitting Tory MP's and neglected and left to rot under all shades of sitting Governments.

It's been fun.

I find it's usually the councils that just have to dress up a donkey in a certain coloured rosette to win, that usually try the least. Still gets me how people from certain areas vote Labour yet they live in toilets that the council does nothing to improve.

The older I get, the better I was

Advice is what we seek when we already know the answer - but wish we didn't

Your last statement proves you are absolutely clueless as to how local and national governments work

A poignant piece about our great city last week.
It seemed it was never going to happen.

Followed by fantastic news and confirmation today.
Hull gets the break it so badly needed. Hats off to the many upfront and behind the scene-ers who have worked tirelessly to make it happen.
