Recently attended a 'do' where the couple renewed their wedding vows, cost a fortune to hire and buy clothes for the occasion, which we couldn't avoid. The 'groom' chuntered about the cost of it all for months beforehand. Then had the nerve to say he wanted guests to give them cash instead of presents!
The bride in the article opted to invite her guests so she should entertain them if they choose to give her and her partner a gift then accept with good grace.

I got married on 4th May this year. Seeing as me and my Wife already have our own place and everything we need, we were in a very privileged position to ask our guests for charity donations.

Our very generous guests raised over £1600 or Spinal Research!
