You have to laugh at the Torygraph. Here we have a paper which never misses an opportunity to ridicule conspiracy theory. And yet over the last few years it has stood behind some absolute whoppers seemingly without a shred of self-doubt.

Today's edition is a good example in which the paper claims Gareth Williams, the so called "Spy in the Bag", was offed by Russian hitmen after he had been blackmailed over compromising photos.

The source for this political bombshell? An anonymous insider at the FSB (close to the Kremlin) who passed the story to a former KGB double-agent living in exile in Britain for the best part of two decades!

The paper never explains how someone based in Latvia during the nineties could not only know a high-ranking FSB official stationed right in the heart of Moscow today - but be close enough for him not to worry about the potential consequences of admitting that Russians blackmailed and then murdered a British intelligence officer - on British soil - to a political enemy who has more than likely spilled his guts in exchange for a British passport.

No intelligence agency would dream of taking this story at face value without cast-iron corroboration - not least because spies are liars before they are anything else and - as Machiavelli (who gets an undeserved bad reputation these days) understood - political exiles are among the least trustworthy people to take seriously - for reasons which shouldn't need much brainpower to work out.

Won't take too many joint Syrian-Russian airstrikes before ISIS bug out for good.

I mean, you can believe they are fighting some kind of Holy Jihad and would rather die than surrender. But I think a far more believable motivation is US money laundered through Qatar and/or Saudi. Or even better - paper-wrapped bricks of high-quality heroin smuggled through northern Iran & Iraq from the poppy fields of Afghanistan which have been doing a roaring trade since 9/11.

Mercenaries throughout the ages aren't known for their Rourke's Drift spirit. The moment those Russian ODABs start falling they'll vanish quicker than the Christmas tab at the bar.

If the Metrojet air disaster in Egypt does turn out to be a bomb, then maybe ISIS have got one back. I hope not.

Re: Russians 10 Isis Nil : Fri Nov 06, 2015 8:34 am
I think the bomb is more likely to have been planted by the Israelis in retaliation for Russian air strikes against Israeli-trained ISIS groups in Syria. Early news reports stated that Mossad were at the site of the crash within hours. What other reason explains their presence other than the removal of potentially incriminating evidence?

It remains to be seen where Putin will lay the blame officially. Given that Russian soldiers are currently engaged in Syria he might well admit ISIS involvement in order to shore up domestic support for the campaign.

But you can be sure he'll take action against the West for this act of cold-blooded murder. As is usually the case with major powers - they rarely act against each other directly and prefer instead to hit their proxies. Which is probably the reason behind Britain's snap decision to rush holidaymakers back from Egypt.

All this ridiculous hemming and hawing by Cameron & Obama over whether or not ISIS planted the bomb reflects their concern over what Putin's public response will be.

My guess is Putin will let the dust settle for a few weeks before giving the order to blast a Western passenger jet out of the sky in retaliation.

Re: Russians 10 Isis Nil : Fri Nov 13, 2015 5:30 pm
I follow the situation everyday from lots of media sources ( not mainstream ) and make up my own mind based on common sense.

Common sense tells me that Russia has clearly been backed into a corner in the world game, and they are fighting back (of course they have their own national interests in place in the region) their aim would be I assume to destroy all the rebels, and restore Assad (or pro Russian government) and acquire a strong foothold in the region (whether it's bases, pipelines, ports,( I Assume )

Putin may well be a puppet for the Rothschilds who put him there, along with all the western leaders - but as far as Syria as concerned, he is doing what is best in their national interest. (though putting Russian forces in the region, along with US and Israel is a very dangerous situation as far as the WW3 camp is concerned, all it would take is a large false flag to send everything to hell)

Civilian casualties from now on and western propaganda will only increase - because as the rebels are being bombed to hell, they will attempt to use human shields (if they're not doing so already) which no doubt means more civilian deaths, which the West is gonna have a field day with, in an attempt to demonise Putin. Hilarious, because the West should look at their own history of bombing civillians before they jump on the moral high horse.

I don't think the Russian end game of restoring Assad or installing a pro Moscow government will materialise. Because the closer they get to their goal, the more likely we will have a desperate false flag in the making to spark conflict between all sides (good for the world economy no doubt, but bad news for the people.

over and out.

Re: Russians 10 Isis Nil : Mon Nov 16, 2015 10:18 am
Russia is arguably the single most poorly understood nation on the face of the earth . Since the Bolshevik revolution it has been engaged in a grim and bloody struggle against the former Tsarist White Russian establishment which is fundamentally fascist in nature. Ask people to offer an opinion on why the Russians got rid of the Tsar and you invariably draw some vague responses about "royalist tyranny" etc. But almost no-one is aware of the fact that at the time of the Tsar's removal - between fifty and seventy-five percent of many of Russia's key resources and industries were actually owned by foreign entities. When Lenin and his group took power all those industries were re-nationalised. Predictably this caused international outcry in Europe and the US - both of which went so far as to send armies into Russia to fight the Bolsheviks. US President Herbert Hoover is forever lauded for providing millions of dollars in aid during the Russian famine. But the part of the story which is left out is that at the time Hoover had investments totalling billions in Russia which were under jeopardy and what aid he did provide (which wasn't armaments) was purely to the Tsarist "White Russian" side of the conflict.

Fast forward a hundred years and Putin is fighting precisely the same battle of geopolitics against these Western-backed fascists. Recently they achieved one of their primary goals when the Ukraine was toppled into virtual anarchy after over five billion dollars of US covert funding was funnelled into the hands of ultra-far right groups by thinly-veiled CIA front NGOs. It seems astonishing that Britain & the US could be in favour of an unashamedly fascist goose-stepping Ukrainian government - especially after the millions who were butchered at the hands of Hitler's einzatsgruppen. I mean, Putin gets a lot of bad press - a good deal of which he probably deserves. But if a "right" side exists in this bloody struggle my guess it's him rather than us who is on it.

Russia gets bad press in the west no doubt, you've only have to look at the recent 200 + deaths in the Egyptian plane bombing recently. No one minute silence observed here by the west.

Sometimes i'm confused through informations about Putin but don’t forget he’s ex KGB which gives the game away with regards to his puppet-ness. There’s no doubt he’s providing the vital balance in world power at this time. He is preventing the manipulative and power driven US/UK led western drive for power and control over the world.

Russia is enough of a threat militarily to prevent the next atrocity planned for Syria. If he stands his ground we should avert a wider world conflict. Assad has shown wisdom and courage against all odds. The international interference by western allies to de stable his government is against all decent humanity and is the result of manipulation in its worst form. The events that resulted in the overthrow and brutal slaying of Muammar Ghadaffi in Libya cannot be allowed to be repeated in Syria. It is clear and obvious to all right minded free thinking members of the world population that the sacking of Libya was illegal and driven by a desire for control. Despite how some people view Ghaddafi (he was no angel) he definitely provided his country with stability and benefit to his people in terms of housing, healthcare, education and in many other areas and utilised the country's oil wealth for the good of his own nation as well as for others. Unconventional perhaps, controversial by western definition, definitely but nonetheless a true patriot towards his country. He ran the country with a strong hand and as with any political situation the dissenting few threatened the program he set forth in his future plans for Libya and the wider African alliance which, if he had been allowed to pursue, would have been of more benefit to all concerned rather than to their detriment. Just look at the state Libya's in now.

In Syria, because Assad is his own man and not one of the western puppets he is automatically deemed to be a devil to be removed. This is not right or democratic and is a travesty of international interference which must not be allowed to prevail. A repeat of the Libyan scenario must not be allowed to prevail on the whim of the dictatorial few that for the time being remain in control of their destiny. If an attempt was made to overthrow the leaders of the US or any of its western allies it would result in immediate retaliation. Acting like "bullies in the playground" that the US is demonstrating is not a recipe for world peace.

The West in particular have created their own problems and the more this unwelcomed false flagged appointed policing of the world by imposition is allowed to continue the more popular they will become. It can only end one way - and that will be to the detriment of all humanity.

Putin on the other hand plays his cards very close to the chest, I think he's very intelligent and I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
