"Arguably the best Rugby League side certainly in the last 40 years!" Phil Clarke.

If I'd known that this would be a consequence of Brexit I'd have voted to leave too but, unlike the Brexiteers, I didn't know what was on the table. This is a nice side-effect of the sh!tsh0w that it has become. Silver linings and all that!

That's an interesting take on the effects of "leave" "winging it".
However, it has to be up to the people of N .Ireland to choose their future and although a United Ireland may seem like a "good outcome", Unification would bring a whole new set of problems for the people in the North, especially the Unionists.
The irony, that they held the balance of power, for a short while and then ended up getting right royally shafted is quite unbelievable and the promises that Johnson made to them, which now seem to have disappeared into the ether have become juts another small pile in his (Johnson's) litany of lies and broken promises, which could come back and bite him at the next General Election.

The south cant afford to bring the North onboard. It just won't happen.

And neither would any Lancastrian.

That was the case in the past but not so much nowadays.

If there's a referendum and a majority vote in favour to re-unite Ireland, the US and EU will make sure it happens.

The South won't allow a referendum to happen, and if it was to happen it wouldn't get over the line. Don't let your fertile imagination run away with itself.

How do you know that is this just your opinion based on nothing more than some insane belief to justify the lies told by de Pfeffel to the people of Northern Ireland who actually voted to remain.

I must be mistaken in thinking that this was the deal agreed and signed by de Pfeffel to get Brexit done that has lead to the position Northern Ireland is in. I know he only plays the part of being the PM but I am pretty certain that he is responsible for the current problems. I look forward to your view on who you believe to be the cause of the current problems.

If data shows the majority of NI are in favour of reunification then there has to be a referendum as per the GF agreement. The majority still favour being part of the union so it won't happen any time soon, but the support for reunification is definitely increasing, and has been for a while now.

Personally, I don't see it happening completely, I think self rule will remain in place, but Ireland will hold overall control, as the UK does now.

Not so sure. Fine Gael are even starting to consider it. Varadkar addressed a business dinner and said "I do think we need to clarify the mechanism for calling a border poll. Surely it should involve the NIA and not just the SoS. We would also need to know what the question was and have clear proposals as to what unification would look like". Interesting times ahead!
