4, pretty much any animated film he says atm, although would say Cars is probably his favourite (this month).
Toy Story 3 is an excellent game. It's a quality game in it's own right, but for a young kid it's great. It's an open sandbox game where they can just wander round doing stuff without any consequences of dying or failing tasks, so they aren't ever going to get 'stuck' on one level. It will get them used to using the sticks to control the character and you should be able to find this for £10-£15 now.
The Cars games are all okay for kids, but being driving games aren't the easiest concept to pick up.
All the Lego games are fantastic. We have Star Wars, Batman, Pirates and Harry Potter and all of them have been hammered. These games are good for young kids as you can just die over and over again and just come back to life.
If you have Kinect, Once Upon a Monster and Kinectimals are both great.

I got Toy Story 3 and Sonic Generations for my lad, not played on Toy Story yet but thought I'd have a go on Sonic. The controls really are frustrating. Alot of the levels are set up where you have to make the perfect jump and do everything right at 100 miles an hour and can be a right pain in the booty. Quite a difficult game. And cos you can swap between the old Sonic and new Sonic it can be frustrating trying to remember which button does what. A very frustrating game but my lad seems to like it, probably all the flashy colours!

My eldest has just gone 5. He enjoys all the Lego games, Rango, Trails HD/Evolution. We are currently both playing Disney Universe
Some games he enjoyed watching me play - Toy Story 3, Cars II.
Get yourself a trial of Lovefilm and it'll save you a fortune over a year! (I can send you an introduction for a month free but you should be able 3 months if you look hard enough.
Tiger Woods 13, Not played golf games enough really to be able to compare it to anything but I'm finding putting very hard, even when asking the caddy etc it still doesn't make it much easier. Not sure if its any better when being used with kinect.
NHL 12, Not a clue what I'm doing but a good bit of fun! Especially starting fights etc!
Also been playing DIRT 3 which is all round a very good game, Finding it hard to control and keep the car on track but that's probably because I'm just rubbish at driving games.
Not sure if I'm allowed to post this mods please delete if I aren't.
My PS3 hasn't been used in over a year and I want rid. It's a 320gb slim. Extremely lightly used and in mint condition as far as I can tell. Just formatted it so will be as new for who ever the new owner ends up been. PM me if interested.
Just playing Starwars Force Unleashed 2 and very impressed so far - not played a Starwars game for years and was impressed with this one - love using the force to push enemies out of the way.
Remember the Starwars games on the SNES were probably the best platform games i have ever played.

Putting is very unforgiving!
