Especially in this era of poppy police, wherein millions of people who do sod all to mark the remembrance, feel fully empowered to criticise the size, colour, location or other indicator of appropriateness of the poppies that public figures display, when all they've done themselves is put a meme on Facebook?

Will do - it's a relief actually when people self-declare like that; destroying the world is quite time-consuming, so one less person to give a $h1t about is a handy time management aid.
