Zodiac is an excellent choice, as you say, perfectly captures the era the killings were happening, pretty much as did Summer of Sam about David Berkovitz.
Not too sure of About Schmidt, thought it took ages to get going. Disappointing to watch after his previous effort, As Good As It Gets. But each to his own.
Thanks for the feedback folks. Great to hear what you thought even if it created a different response in you. There's certainly a few in the top 50 that are polarising in the feelings they generate so I'll be interested if you take a plunge on one you wouldn't normally go for.
