Not sure whose narrative you're repeating but the bipartisan deal was never brought to the floor of the house.

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

May's deal had protection of workers rights and environmental in line with EU standards

It's all going so well for the Tories; highlights this week include Michael Gove using a fake Twitter account to amplify false claims of AS against Momentum: the party machine doctoring a video of Keir Starmer to create fake news: the Tories supressing the publication of a report about Russian interference in the EU referendum; Boris Johnson & Gove being referred to the CPS over the criminality of Vote Leave; and best of all, Jacob Rees-Mogg saying on LBC that the people who died in the Grenfell fire did so because they lacked common sense - made worse by the demonic dwarf Andrew Bridgen doubling down on that, by saying that clever people like Jacob, who definitely wouldn't die in a fire because he'd make his own escape arrangements, are in charge precisely *because* of that death by incineration avoiding brand of cleverness.

Dom must be chuffed to bits.

The scary thing is, he probably is, and so are his disciples. They either spend hours trying to debunk what everyone else has seen and heard with their own eyes and ears, or they use it to say the liberal/leftist media are ganging up on them, and they are in fact the victims in all of this. It's all going to plan.

The Tories are getting all their skeletons out of the cupboard now and hoping to minimise the impact. To me they have hit the ground walking whilst Labour have hit the ground running. Labour have two big issues - financial credibility - whatever you say about austerity one thing you can't say is the Tories have been profligate with the monies and Corbyn.

They need to shut the cupboard door.
Although the modern world is, in general, far too intrusive in peoples lives, there isn't too much that can be kept secret these days and the cupboard will be over flowing with Tory scandals and ill timed comments.

Rees Mogg made a blooper and Cleverley actually made things worse when he tried to defend his colleague.
It would be hilarious but for the subject matter. What an absolute waste of political space and he (Rees Mogg) was running for PM just a short while ago

As we've spoken, another one bites the dust; Alun Cairns, a Cabinet member, resigns over allegations that he was complicit in the deliberate sabotage of a rape trial.

The Tories - what a fine and upstanding bunch of basterds.

I agree - Cleverley looks out of depth and under prepared - to be out foxed by Piers Morgan who has pulled more of these stunts than anyone is the height of stupidity.

Labour have already made enough gaffs that the Tories should have had plenty of ammunition - even Morgan said today Labour's Brexit policy lacks any kind of credibility.

Less said about Mogg the better - doubt you will see him again in this campaign.
