People are not going to go on TV and say they regretted voting remain, but some are going to go on TV and express regret over voting leave.

So they are wheeling a few of those out.
'Can we have another vote please?'
'We never thought the decision would be leave when we voted leave.'

I think if we had another vote tomorrow, it would go the other way.

I think there is a feeling of ... oops!

You don't think 333,000 immigrants a year is placing a squeeze on public services? A million every 3 years?

My own personal experience and speaking to friends and family in the NHS (nurses, a theatre manager, a couple of midwives), education (several teachers and a school secretary) and other public services, as well as friends struggling to get their kids in schools with large numbers of immigrant kids told me all I needed to know. Too many, too quickly. It needs to slow. Not stop...just slow.

We're a small but already densely populated country with an infrastructure designed to expand alongside normal population growth rates. This massive influx has squeezed the hell out of it and it's not like we can catch up - this things take many, many years to plan and build. And we don't know how many will come from one year to the next, so how can we plan?

Give your blinkered head a wobble.

Except of that figure you quoted, 160k was EU, the rest was outside of EU that we have always had control of anyway. There is a reason why we need immigrants, because people these days find washing dishes, pulling turnips out of the ground and serving in bars beneath them and would rather sit at home on benefits.

Leaving the EU will have zero effect on immigration. Only the facebook xenophobe racists believe it will

There are xenophobic racists and there are numberists.
Don't confuse the two ...

Although it's nice to chuck all the leave voters in as the former and to even suggest that the two are the same ... which they are NOT.

I think if there were NO immigrants and that large families were the norm and that the government did not cater for them with schools, jobs and houses, etc, there would also be outrage.

Numbers! Not immigrants.
I don't care who lives in this country.

This is to a large degree a vote against government that doesn't supply the infrastructure for the immigrants, but are happy to let them crowd in.
Build the infrastructure or limit, it's that simple.

Two days ago Juncker was going around telling everybody that the mediocre reform deal Cameron got was as best as the EU could possibly manage. This morning we've got a rash of top EU leaders deciding actually maybe the EU can manage something a bit more meaningful.

Re: Brexit Anyone? : Fri Jun 24, 2016 12:51 pm
Hahaha, Can anybody see through this smokescreen? Ah mean, there's an agenda attached to this result. Right, I'll start as far back as the appointment of Jeremy Corbyn. Why do you think Corbyn was selected to lead The Labour Party? My answer, to self-destruct the Labour Party making the Labour voters somewhat disillusioned leaving them no option but to reach out towards UKIP. This referendum vote clearly indicates that Corbyn's Labour followers had deserted him and that was no fluke. The Numpty Corbyn was put in this position for a reason. And it worked.

Secondly, Northern Ireland will now hold a referendum to join a unified Ireland and take on the Euro. Thirdly, Scotland will have another referendum and also join the EU and also be made to take on the Euro.

And Fourthly, we will go it alone, for the agenda to play out for the specific time they want, then out of the blue, they'll be a financial crash, to which the saving grace will be rejoining the EU with us having to abide with also taking on the Euro. They're dividing and conquering Britain to bring in the Euro. Everybody thinks democracy has won this election whereas it's really a Psyop where the mass media are making it look like a bonafide referendum when in reality a cataclysmic financial crash will have us begging for the EU to save us from oblivion, and in return, we'll end up being tied into, with us also having to take on the Euro without a single murmur.

Today's result divides the UK to which is Hegelian Dialectic being played out. Ireland will be as one and, Scotland will go it alone which is just the tip of the iceberg, a cataclysmic financial crash will bring us back begging to the EU to save our bacon but the crux of the matter will be taking on the Euro.

Can everybody see why Cameron chose his two best Chum's to Lead Brexit now?

Farage should of really lead Brexit as there wouldn't have been any referendum without his non-stop campaigning. So you now see why Boris and Gove were Cameron's choice, which was a conspiracy up until this morning.
