I couldn't care less if Rayner turned up, but I know how by election campaigning works and the effort of the Labour lot here was a study in disinterest.
Well the candidate threw everthing at the campaign according to Starmers spokesperson

You are indeed a "unique" poster. You have endless posts criticising Labour, Socialists etc You have also claimed not to be a Tory You aren't celebrating this as a Lib Dem victory You didn't vote in the EU referendum but, wanted the result upheld
Having never actually stated what your political preference is, you must either be a Communist or a Farage fan or maybe EDL.
So, which is it WUM boy ?

I want MY labour party back ,not this momentum infested turd which it has become,it needs somebody to do what Neil Kinnock did with Militant and purge the party of it,because if they dont the party will split and you wont see another Labour government again ,they need to go back to being centrist like New Labour were ,that's the only chance they have got of getting the working man and middle England back, socialists like you lot on here are pretty irrelevant in the great scheme of things, beliefs which did not work in the 60s and 70s wont work now, Unfortunately good Mps like Caroline Flint lost their seats and we are left with the likes of Emily Thornberry ,Jonathan Ashworth, Richard Burgon et al

It's great to see some opinion from you and it makes a (very) refreshing change from the usual stuff I dont get with how this fits with your your jibes at "wizened old socialists" though and for the record, you are miles adrift on knowing my politics, they certainly dont fit with "70's Labour" but, there you go. My "beef" is with having the country run by a proven liar, a Tory chancer, who is without moral compass and blows with the wind so, strangely, we may have some common ground in our opinions, which has come as a bit of a surprise.
Labour made a huge mistake when they chose the wrong Miliband. David was just what they needed at that time but, that's history and they (Labour) are still paying a very heavy price.

So what's your opinion on momentum because at the mo the Labour party is in limbo

And so your beef is about Johnson who let's face it is a clown, mine is about momentum and all this project fear opinions passed off as fact on here ,and flippant lies like ghost 99saying labour didn't campaign when clearly they did ,and odious lovers like Ashworth who after being caught slagging Corbyn lied through his back teeth, you see the old adage they all mickey in the same pot rings true
'Thus I am tormented by my curiosity and humbled by my ignorance.' from History of an Old Bramin, The New York Mirror (A Weekly Journal Devoted to Literature and the Fine Arts), February 16th 1833.

They frustrate me. To some degree, you have to deal with the world as it is, rather than as you’d wish it to be if you want to get closer to the latter.
They’d rather be ideologically pure and lose, even if that means the real, country-shaping decisions are made by a person like Boris Johnson.
