| Quote silver2="silver2"The EHRC inquiry started around May 2019 and is expected to take up to 2 years to complete. Strangely, that didnt satisfy our corrupt media who continued to pick away at the AS theme until just after they got the result they wanted at the 2019GE.'"
And where, dare we ask, is the investigation into Islamophobia in the Conservative party - which is based on my experience of Tory voters likely to be a much more widespread problem.

What I find more worrying is how AS was weaponized to ensure Corbyn was unelectable. It would appear that some Labour party officials were involved, but how far does this undemocratic cancer spread?

| Hmm. The Daily Mail, consistently identified by the IPSO as the most unreliable UK newspaper(?).

It's absolutely appalling - and so many senior figures are implicated that it almost renders the new leadership, and their senior appointments, illegitimate.
Keir Starmer has a big test here - which I have no doubt he'll fail, given than he had the report for a week prior to the leak; and his first act when forced to respond, was to release a statement saying there'll be an investigation - but with a strong emphasis on finding out how it was leaked, rather than any condemnation for the vile behaviour of, for example, his top pick for General Secretary, who also happens to be married to one of the few MP's who survived into the new centrist shadow cabinet.

Ignore that, it's the Daily Mail- I can hear it from the Momentum movement that exclusively use this site.'"
It wouldn't be hard to find a report other than in the Mail if you're looking for a credible source.

If we're starting from the Daily Mail as the baseline, I could find some random blokes down the pub who'd be more credible.

| The Daily Mail is directly quoting the Labour party's report.
Quote The events which led to this investigation, including the party becoming host to a small number of members holding views which were unarguably hostile to Jewish people and in some cases frankly neo-Nazi in their nature, are deeply disturbing'"

Absolutely true - and what's even more disturbing is that Corbyn's attempts to deal with it were deliberately stymied by Ian McNichol and his cronies, to damage the LOTO and his allies; not to mention their racism, sexism, misogyny and ableism - and effectively fraudulent use of membership fees to benefit their own faction of the party.
The Labour party is deeply rotten I'm afraid to say - and the most disturbing element of that rot is nothing to do with antisemitism; 0.08% of party members resigned or were expelled for genuine anti-Semitism - and rightly so - but the duplicity and bullying of disgusting plotters like McNichol, Oldknow, Ashworth, Tom Watson, Wes Streeting and many others, is the real and present danger. I struggle to see how they'll recover, because Keir Starmer is wet and ineffective - and seems to be directing his main effort to outing the whistle-blower rather than dealing with the problem. Several hundred thousand members joined the party because of Corbyn - wiping out its debt and giving it plenty of cash to work with; when they leave, for surely they will - I can't see Tony Blair and Starmer's other secret sources replacing all that money.

| Early doors of course, I’m a little more blue than red but not strongly, and of course it is difficult under the current circumstances, but Starmer looks out of his depth to me.
Brings Labour more central than Corbyn from what I can see but difficult to see how he will break down the current gulf between the 2 parties

| I actually think he is doing it correctly and has shown Raab up on both PMQ’s. He is taking the situation into consideration but has definitely got over the government’s failures in many aspects of their handling of the virus. I have watched both of his PMQ’s which clearly showed Raab getting annoyed while Starmer kept his.
I look forward to his first confrontation with Johnson whenever that will be because unlike Starmer he relies on sound bytes and being vague which he got away with when dealing with Corbyn. He won’t with Starmer whose career prepared him for this type of performance and can come back with responses as Raab found out.
