If Starmer didn't attend he'd be standing by his principles. But he is so he isn't. I'm not outraged as it is what I would expect from him. Nor do I read the Mail or god forbid lick anyone's spittle, it sounds disgusting.

It's not a question of which one is a football fan as you well know. One has criticised attendance yet is attending himself. Surely even you can see the rank hypocrisy.

And for the politicians it’s about perception - Johnson looks like a plank with his England shirt over his shirt and tie, Starmer out does him again sat in a private room in Ireland for the Germany game with just his aides for company, now he criticises the crowds then jumps in there himself.

When Starmer first got the gig I thought he was gunna turn things round but he’s turning into a bigger liability than Corbyn and that’s saying something. Gunna take the Labour a decade to pull itself back to anywhere near challenging

At the end of the day he is the leader of the opposition and it would be expected for him to attend a final at Wembley. If he had not then we would have the usual rubbish that he is anti U.K. and still longs for Brexit to be reversed.
What you are saying is if he should not attend because you consider him an hypocrite whilst others would say he had to attend or he hates his country.

He can do as he chooses and I certainly don't think he hates his country. He is, however, a hypocrite of that there is no doubt.
