Of course three is not loads, they were simply three very famous 24 hour clocks, one at what is arguably the world's most famous horologically-interesting location.
Quote Lord God Jose Mourinho="Lord God Jose Mourinho"that's more to do with the timetables than the clocks.'"
Eh?
You'll see digital 24 hour clocks on virtually every one of them, plus the digital displays on most platforms.
My alarm clock and, I would contend, most people's alarm clocks in the UK (maybe the world?) are either 24 hour or selectable between 12 and 24 hour.

Printing timetables is clearer and easier using the 24 hour clock. In the mass of thousands of numbers it's far more obvious that 0400 is very different to 1600 than seeing the 04.00am and 04.00pm.
But most people operate with the 12 hour clock. Very few people are going to tell you they'll pick you up at 1915.
The reason that all the train stations will have the 24 hour clock is that some of the old and slow brained still won't be able to quickly work out that 1915 is 7.15pm. The 24 hour clock is there to help them.

| FFS will one of the mods please clear all the [is[/ihit off this thread?
We are looking at the destruction of a system of universal healthcare and we've got arguments about 12 or 24 hour time systems. I can tell the difference, I couldn't give a flying fook about whether anyone else can or not. I'm more concerned with seeing ever increasing elements of the NHS handed over to private, profit-driven entities

I got his opinion for nothing. I don't value it.

That was the front page story of the Express. A stupid survey from a medical magazine. No news today?
