As I said, for someone who doesn't care, you seem to care a lot about defending someone based on a stance of your doing it, defending him, because everyone else is picking on him unfairly. Even though time and time and time again thise people are explaining why they're criticising him with IMO mostly rational arguments.

Your stance seems to be, it doesn't matter what he does, just leave him alone. Well I'm afraid people who care and have an opinion are not going to do that, they're going to keep reminding everyone of their choices.

On a personal note I'm not defending anybody, for the record an to put some meat on the bones of your accusation, please show me where I've defended anybody in the Conservative party, all I have ever done is ask the people on here doing the accusing to provide evidence of some of the accusations and innuendos and half truths, if that is criticising them well then I'm guilty as charged M'lord.
Rational arguments are simply different points of view, which is not exactly the truth is it?, criticism is an opinion not the truth, because I have no interest in voting does not mean I'm not allowed an opinion, except in the world of some on here, I don't defend the indefensible, but at the same time I have the same right as you to an opinion, you say you don't have a problem, I'm happy for you that you've sorted your erectile disfunction problem out, hope you do the same for conroy, thanks for your understanding :D

What’s the EU please remind me. You better hope the right wing women over the channel doesn’t get a new job over the coming weeks.

You could be a fully paid up Tory spin doctor.
Do you really believe that Britain is "leading the charge".??

What a staggering comment.

Britain is offering support, while still dragging its heals with regard to the humanitarian crisis - hoping that all of it's EU neighbours take in those who are escaping the conflict.
Pritti Patel is just an embarrassment.

The day after the two most powerful people in the UK government were found guilty of a crime and you're still asking for "evidence".

Well that's all the evidence we need to see through your "I'm just an honest broker me" routine.

Britain is many countries away from Ukraine. You would naturally expect our quota to be lower than the immediate neighbours as is the quota in USA.
Our major commitment is to assist the fight to fend off the red army. There are many dimensions to the overall conflict but you wouldn’t see that.

Inflation is at a recent record high
Energy bills have increased hugely
Covid hasn’t gone away
Waiting lists I for the NHS are at a high
There’s a war on our nearest continent
………
And your focus is on the PM having a couple of drinks on his birthday with his workmates in his office. Hmmmm

Come on WQ, I did say that Britain IS offering support, just not much on the humanitarian side.
Oh, and thanks for pointing out "the bleeding obvious", about the many "dimensions" of war, I though they just took turns in hitting beer cans :SHOOT:

Sadly there’s only one dimension when it comes to Boris and that’s hatred. There’s nothing balanced about your views it’s just an absolute focus on the negative.

It's not a "drinks" issue, it's a "trust" issue.
You are backing a bloke who is unable or just unwilling to tell the truth and if he cant fess up about the "fluff", how can you, me or anyone else believe what he says on the big issues.
Covid, for instance, it's pretty damn clear that we are no longer concerned about "controlling" it, and we are now in the "rush" to herd immunity (if this can actually be achieved).
The NHS waiting lists (and waiting times) were increasing pre covid and it will be interesting to see if the increase in NI actually leads to any significant change - it looks more like a tax grab.

As for the war being on our "nearest" continent. It's on our actual continent.
We have only left the EU trading bloc, not the actual continent

As I said, "we" need to trust the people in power and Boris doesn't score too heavily in this department.

Also, it's worth remembering that the inquiry into Downing Street parties is still on going, there will be more fines to come from some of the numerous parties/ gatherings.
Lets see how the Tories go in the local elections

After 10 plus years you wouldn’t expect the local elections to go so well. The country got sick of “Thatcher and Blair’s” governments after a protracted period.
It’s interesting soon after a ‘scandal’ you raise local elections. You knew full well labour weren’t looking good until partygate occurred. I suspect you won’t admit that as you don’t have a bad word for labour.

Labours performance in the elections will be based upon Boris failings rather than Kiers policies and performance. Let’s hope the electorate don’t turn to the liberals for your sake.

That lucky for Labour because with de Pfeffel his failings and that of the government just keep on coming.
