Hi Andy

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

if you'd bothered to read my earlier post you would have seen that i said i've been reading porn longer than i've been watching it.

kirkstaller wrote:
We don't watch any soap operas, and even if we did, I would pass it off as some kind of research.

why would you "pass it off as some kind of research"? do you need to make excuses for everything you do in life?

kirkstaller wrote:
OK so would you oppose someone viewing only existing child pornography? Y'know, they wouldn't encourage any more being made but they have enough to stop them abusing children.

this seems to be something of an obsession for you, and to be frank it worries me somewhat. in answer to your question however (and at risk of repetition) i oppose any type of child porn. it is illegal, sexual activity with anyone under the age of consent is illegal. so, even if no more was made, by owning or viewing child porn you are breaking the law. on a personal level, the thought of child porn disgusts me, as it should any normal person.

Lots of couples watch pornography together, I appreciate that. But even if both parties are happy with it then it is still damaging to the relationship. Lusting after other people can never be a good thing for our relationships.

I admit that I occasionally have a wandering eye; I daresay my wife does as well. However, what brings us together is the knowledge that such instincts are wrong and that sexual activity is mean for married couples only. This brings us back to each other, and we have a great sex life.

So much of this is rubbish that I won't waste my time with it.

kirkstaller wrote:
Another problem is when adults become too involved with pornography and begin watching videos which are illegal. I challenge anyone to justify child pornography.
Just so you understand Child pornography is already illegal so why or how would anyone justify it? I only state this as you seemed to have missed them memo about it.........Oh no wait you already knew this as you mentioned.

So to clarify you are seeming to say that we should make normal pornography illegal because of child pornography which is already illegal. What an incredibly strange statement to make.

Those nasty, god-given instincts, eh?

kirkstaller wrote:

This is crass and disingenuous even by your standards.

If, as you're suggesting, watching porn always leads to the illegal – and your implication here is that it leads to viewing child porn – then it is as legitimate to say that all consenting, adult sex leads to child abuse.

Well indeed. There are plenty of excellent porn books out there – some of it is downright literary. And nobody's ever lusted over something that they've read, oh no ...

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Frederick Douglas

Some see the connection between the two, mainly because they are morons.

I was once asked 'would you let a gay near your young son'

The person in question couldn't get it that the vast majority of gay men and women find pedophilia as abhorrent as the vast majority of heterosexuals do.

I think Kirkstaller finds it difficult to believe that a happy couple, whatever the sexual orientation can enjoy watching a porno without it screwing the relationship, it shows how sheltered a life a lot of these devout religious believers have.

In his defence, when you've only ever had joyless, functional, missionary position sex, you probably find porn a bit overwhelming.
