Not got too much money to spend so anything cheap and cheerful! Bit macbre but in DC I really enjoyed Arlington Cemetery. You could literally spend at least a whole afternoon in there. We witnessed the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier too. Totally sureal.

second holiday might not be happening now, for some reason two of the group (of four of us) have went cold on the idea, even though they've booked time off work and can comfortably afford it seeing as though they still live at their parents and have no other trips planned. mates, arent they wonderful.

A return to Austria is all sorted, we went there last year to the Tyrol and fell in love with it. We are going a bit further over this year to Saltzburg so Mr P can indulge her Sound of Music phobia, Vienna for a touch of Mozart and Berchesgarten for me to visit my old mate Adolf's old hide away. I better not mention the chocolate cakes smothered in cream .............
