The Police did find him guilty of being at a party therefore his many statements refuting it went on would clearly indicate he lied. The eagerness of some to move on suggests they know this to be the case but would rather not have to dwell on the fact they support a pathological liar.
We could move onto the pandemic report and the many failings of the de Pfeffel party which resulted in unnecessary deaths.

The eagerness to move on has nothing to do with the above more that we have pressing issues as a country and we seem to be wasting a huge amount of time and effort on a few drinks. It’s holding us back.

Exactly. So the sooner we get rid of the corrupt people in charge of the country, we can crack on and start fixing the issues.

There's an easy, cost-free (for all but one member of our population) solution to that problem that I feel is staring us in the face.

He's a wrong 'un, whose done wrong and he should move on. What does that cost us? There are currently 359 Conservative MPs. Even if we assume 90% are too inexperienced or too old or too stupid or too bigoted or too handsy or too centrist or too right wing, that would still leave more than 30 who could potentially do a passable job as PM... which we know Boris Johnson will struggle with, now even more than before. All the effort has only been required because he didn't do what anybody with any decency would have done months ago. He's the one holding us up, and even on his own terms he is the only one to benefit. Well, aside from a few of his most useless cabinet appointees but again that is at the country's expense.

No giving contracts to their friends through a VIP channel is corruption. To lie to Parliament that he did not have a drink at a party because one did not exist and then receive a fine for attending said party then that is a resigning matter based on the rules set down.
I am sorry but you cannot defend what many of his own party can no longer defend.

I admire you sticking to your guns wire-quin, but we are literally in the realms of defending the indefensible now.

Well, he's either too stupid to know what HIS own rules are or, he was happy to break his own rules anyway.

Pints dont equal corruption but, a lying PM most certainly does and Boris wouldn't recognise the truth is it slapped him around the face.

So Sue Gray didn’t investigate many of Lyin Boris’s parties because the MET investigation started.
And the MET didn’t investigate many of Lyin Boris’s parties because they weren’t in Sue Grays report.

What a classic cover up :D
