Watched the first part (1/3) of The Iraq War on BBC2 last night. All the big hitters giving their version of events. Dick Cheney was by far the most hawkish of our American allies. Then we had our very own Tone with his vision of 'reshaping the Middle-East'. Listening to him and what really shines through is that he was scared to death that he was somehow gonna miss the opportunity of saddling up with his mate Dubya. His desperation to get the vote through parliament was palpable. Has anyone seen Prison Break? I started watching it on Netflix and quite enjoyed the first series. As the second series progressed, it started to get more and more ridiculous, to the point that I was ready to bin it off half way through season 2. My wife made me persevere to the end of the series, but I can go no further. I really don't see how a third and fourth series got the green light.

No, but I watched this weeks episode of Made In Chelsea.

It's fooking great.

Wish I had given it up after 2 series, it just wanders on and on aimlessly seemingly without a point in the 3rd one. Really enjoyed the first series - thought it was brilliant, but like you thought it went downhill gradually in the 2nd series.

It finishes off well, but you've got a lot to get through before you get there.

Gave up half way through the 3rd series - when they are trying to escape the South American prison.

I never watch anything like that expecting it to be particularly true to life, but the second season had so many ridiculously unrealistic plot turns that I couldn't even consider starting season three.

If they'd have limited it to two series, it could have been great. The first season worked really well, and if they'd have constructed the second so that it all wrapped up at the end, they wouldn't have had to put in so many transparent plot devices that were obviously designed to string it out for another two series.

I'm looking for a new TV series to watch, having exhausted their supplies of Dexter, Breaking Bad and House of Cards (all of which I enjoyed). Does anyone have any recommendations?
