So the DUP haven't formally rejected the new assurances as I write this but appear to have privately revealed that they do not see how the party can support the deal following Cox legal advice. No senior ERG comments yet but Andrew Bridgen of the ERG has stated that he believes nothing has changed. Given that ERG and other quitlings were waiting for DUP opinion, then can we can say with some certainty that the deal will be defeated tonight? That being the case, you'd have to assume that tomorrow we will see a no deal brexit also defeated. Thereafter it becomes more uncertain but you'd think we have to immediately seek an extension to Article 50. Who knows to what end.
