Corbyn is deluding himself by agreeing to this election, the best thing he could have done is to have urged Labour M.P.'s to vote against the election plan.

Will he even be in post to fight the GE, or are the long knives out?

You always have to insult.

If the Conservatives get the majority expected and stickleback gets a bloody nose then she'll be out. The majority of Scots don't want to split the Union.

It wasn't an insult, that would have been direct and unambiguous, it was genuine shock that you could believe that there wasn't any link between a general election, where The SNP put up their candidates and try, very successfully, to gather enough support to drive their cause forward.
Without the General Election and their success in securing so many MP's, they would be largely ignored, as they had been up until 25 years ago.

If you say so. The emoticon was unnecessary.

There won't be an Indy2 any time soon, once the deal has been agreed in principle there should be a referendum, do the Scots and do the other parts of the country want to keep them?

What do you mean ?
Are you asking whether the rest of Britain still wants Scotland (to be part of the Union) or, are you asking about SNP's, which is a matter for the Scottish people ?

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

It is the only way they can get rid of Corbyn and McDonald - so they are not going to support the bullies on the left who are simply living on a different planet to normal rational voters

Some would say that she called the Election to preempt a number of tory MPs from losing their job following the police investigation into voter election fraud in 24 marginal constituencies the tories won.

On a different note if the Tories do win this sham election thats forthcoming (so much for 5 year fixed terms) then i think this will hasten the day the scots march to independence.

Corbyn needs to go on a Bernie Sanders-esque campaign to win this snap election for Labour without a Hillary Clinton or Owen Smith getting in the way of progress.

However, with two Labour MPs already choosing not to fight in this election, I do fear they will be a domino effect of obstructive manoeuvres by certain members of the Labour Party to destabilise anything Corbyn tries to achieve. He would be the best Prime Minister in my lifetime if he gets in.

The bullying has come from those who have undermined Corbyn and McDonald every step of the way despite them two making Labour the biggest political party in Europe. However, been the biggest party doesn’t equate to the most popular party so I can only hope that these two are given a chance to have a good crack at this without the likes of Tom Watson and other critics interfering.

I think the election will be more interesting than people presume. I also think it will cause divisions throughout the UK in all sorts of ways rather than unity. I think it will weaken Brexit (which is no doubt the motive).

The conservatives would be best trying to keep this about us leaving the European union. It will serve as a convenient distraction to the withering NHS, the failing education system, voter fraud, the snoopers charter, the doubling of the national debt, a record trade deficit, stagnant wages, etc etc

Corbyn would be a disaster as a PM - he would do what most Labour governments do tax heavily - and McDonald has already hinted at that anyone on >70k he considers rich and they will be taxed accordingly which must include himself!! - spend on the most inefficient sector i.e. the public sector. He will bring in a maximum earning level which will result in an exodus of talent. You will see the rise of union power once again. If he thinks he can take on the corporates and beat them he really is delusional.

Welcome to the world of theoretical Socialism!! It doesn't work it never has and it never will
