Labour take a decisive lead in the polls - and a new smear emerges, eagerly seized upon by Tory MP's and their lickspittle stenographers in the MSM.

Back in the real world - here is what Jeremy Corbyn *actually* said:

“If there are allegations which Julian Assange needs to answer of sexual issues, sexual attacks that may or may not have taken place in Sweden, then it’s a matter for the courts to decide. But, I do think he should answer those questions. My objection was to his extradition to the United States because I do believe that WikiLeaks told us the truth about what was actually happening in Afghanistan and in Iraq."

And he's absolutely right - the US is attempting to imprison and persecute a journalist for whistle-blowing; which is chilling, and a deliberate attempt to send a message to *all* journalists - speak truth to our power, and we'll make you disappear. Remember the international outcry when Jamal Khashoggi, a dissident journalist, was murdered by Saudi Arabia? Why is there not the same outcry about Julian Assange, who exposed US war crimes?

I'd want a bit more evidence to imprison someone for the rest of their lives, even from America.

Julian Assange is a political prisoner .

Tony Blair . Gordon Brown , Jacqui Smith . These people should be in prison.
