I don’t know which parallel world you lived in but it had connection to reality.

To get a phone took weeks, the digital network was installed by Ericsson the Swedish private company. the postal service was under invested and manual

So does the fact that you only get one postal delivery a day an issue. Do you really have telecommunications issues or does what BT now offer dwarf anything the public company could ever offer and do you have issues getting a cheap reliable source of gas to your house?

One you privatisation has created is choice and increased investment which is what happens when you introduce competition. Those who hanker after bygone days don’t really remember those days

Dont spout facts when the elderly are rembering how they wish the world had been. Cable & Wireless started as a private entity.

Will Boris resign or, be pushed, if we're not out of the EU by 30th October.
There seems to be a growing number of "experts" saying that it's impossible for it to happen, not least as there will be no government majority to get any deal through Parliament.
Of course there could be a shock and he may actually win THE one vote that he craves so much but, I dont think so.

Maybe a General Election will save him ??

I can't remember a time when any public-owned business performed better than its current counterpart. There performance was so bad it brought down Callaghan's government - people we so sick of under investment and union interference. I can't remember a time since privatisation that I haven't had access to water, electricity and gas - the most annoying thing is the amount of roadworks going on whilst they sort out the underground infrastructure such is the level of investment by these private companies in the network. As for the mail seems to keep getting delivered. One thing is for such performance will drop off, investment will dwindle unless you want to pay 33% basic tax rate which will see most people homeless as they wont be able to pay either rent or their mortgage.

East Coast Mainline, very recently for one.

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

The figures for them have already been mentioned which are way above what they were when under public ownership.

Is that two deliberate lies in one sentence?
Where have the figures for East Coast been mentioned?
In case you forgot;

Prior to privatisation punctuality was c90% (not Northern Rail as they did not exist). As I informed you punctuality on Northern Rail is now 50-60% (using Network Rail’s own KPI -https://www.networkrail.co.uk/who-we-are/how-we-work/performance/railway-performance/ ) or 80% if we use the next measure of 3 minutes.
Even someone as dim as your mate IR80 can work out which figure is the higher.

At least he has the balls to call a vote, not like Cretin Cringebin. Has he finished getting rid of Jewish individuals in his party?

IR80 mentioned them IFRC 96% within 5 minutes 90% within 5 minutes

How were the 90% measured in the good old days?

No he didn't. East Coast has never been mentioned. I gave you the stats for Northern Rail, using the formally adopted metrics of the rail industry. Since my post I have caught the train every work day, approximately 60% have been late - between 3-20 minutes. My partner is virtually 100%, at peak times. That is for a 30 minute journey with no other trains on that line & our stop 2 minutes from the start of the service.

I do not know how rail punctuality was measured prior to privatisation.

You said rail punctuality is significantly better under privatisation. I have proven it isn't.

So, you have repeatedly said I make things up. You have still to show one thing.
