I completely agree - reasonable profit margins need to be included - if you give them money or vouchers both would spent in profit making organisations.

One thing I don't understand - if these parents struggle during the week surely they also struggle at the weekends - should this not be extended to 7 days a week?

If these parcels are worth £10/week that is roughly double what the school dinners are allowed for food spend?

No the issue is that they got caught doing it, it looks bad for the Tory party and they need better PR to manage the fallout

Where from my post did you get that from - I am saying get a recognised food expert to agree what a child needs and make it uniform so it is transparent what these kids are getting to eat is nutrional and with sustain them.

Same goes for education - they all get the same tutorial and the teachers that understand the individual kids needs are best suited to support those students who struggle with the particular topic.
