Salford Reds have received a shock inquiry from Leeds Rhinos about the possible availability of star centre Joel Moon. Less than a week after an independent tribunal ruled he is duty-bound to honour the final year of his contract with the City Reds Leeds' have moved in to see if they can sign up the NRL star for 2013. He's homesick because his agent . sorry 'management team '. have let him know he's wanted by possibly two NRL sides , Cronulla being one of them.

He's tried the Hudson Smith gambit and failed so park himself in sub tropical Leeds for a year , Leeds know Salford despite all the rhetoric will cash up
